Volunteering
Connecting you with the world.

Serving at one of our services is an expression of Worship. We have outlined some immediate needs below. To volunteer, you may either fill out a Shoreline Connection Card during a Sunday morning service or call Brent Hoogewerf, our Volunteer Coordinator (974-3308). He will be happy to help you get connected in your area of interest.

The greatest among you must be a servant. (Matthew 23:11)

Worship Services
Sundays, 9:00 and 10:30 am

There are several areas of opportunity to serve including:

  • Greeting Team
  • Usher Team
  • Media Central (audio/visual)
  • Media Resource Center
  • Worship Team

Shorebreak Kids Church / Tidepools Preschool and Nursery
Sundays, 9:00 and 10:30 am

Opportunities to serve NOW:
All teachers and helpers are asked to serve one Sunday a month for the next three months. That's only three services!

  • teachers, helpers, and nursery caregivers
  • family greeters and security
  • media and production team

Did you know...

  • All children's ministry volunteers receive a free CD of the service they miss.
  • Not all positions that need to be filled take up the entire service time.
  • In order to protect our children, all children's ministry volunteers must submit to a thorough background check.

Care Force

Sometimes special needs arise, such as someone with a new baby or someone with a serious illness. Meals delivered to those individuals make a world of difference during tough times. If you enjoy cooking or have time to make a delivery, this would be an excellent opportunity for you to volunteer. Call Lauren Veal for more information (499-3523).
